Sandbags from GORUCK – Overview
Simple Sandbags have a triple locking velcro closure system, an upgrade from earlier versions with only a double closure. The sandbags utilize heavy-duty padded handles with neoprene padding that provides a more secure and comfortable grip that you can hold longer. This ensures sand will not escape. They also have double pass stitching at every seam and box stitch reinforcement at the handles, making these sandbags more robust than any other on the market.
If they use webbing, it will dig into your hands, and if they are rubberized, they will get slippery over time. GORUCK prioritized the handle construction because they believe they are the most significant part of the sandbags since you grab them with your hands every time you use them. The two extra padded handles allow you to do hundreds of movements from deadlifts, cleans, & squats to push press and rows.
Each sandbag comes with removable long strap handles for comfortable carry when rucking with your sandbag on top of your ruck. The sandbags have a GORUCK logo and weight embroidery on the exterior. They are tested and proven, and the excellent construction stops sand leakage and seam failure.
