Jedburgh Rucking Boots – Black + Coyote – Overview
The Deception Canvas that Jedburgh Rucking Boots utilize has three times greater tear strength and is hugely more abrasion resistant than standard canvas with a much higher tensile strength. Traditional canvas takes five times longer to dry and more than doubles in weight after being immersed in water. Deception Canvas eliminates water with a wax finish and doesn’t absorb a drop. Another outstanding feature of these boots is their ability to support all three of your arches—your anterior transverse arch, lateral longitudinal arch, and medial longitudinal arch.
The boots’ outsole is made for all terrain and made from dual-compound rubber that delivers versatile performance in any environment, including improved traction on wet and muddy ground. The forefoot rubber is developed for improved grip, while the heel area is designed for abrasion resistance and boosted durability. These boots have the ideal heel-to-toe drop of 13mm offset for rucking. This relieves the strain on your Achilles and helps to adapt a natural gait on asphalt and man-made surfaces.
GORUCK proudly does not use spacer mesh on these boots. Spacer mesh is soft, cushiony, and feels comfy on your hand when you touch it. But once it gets to the water, your boots get heavier, and your adventure becomes uncomfortable. These boots have a wide toe box to let your toes breathe and to lessen the friction if your feet rub against the insides of your boot.
