GORUCK Storage Accessories – Overview
GORUCK Storage Accessories are organizing gear that can be used inside and outside your bag. Their primary purpose is to separate your gear and other items from the main part of your bag. They can be attached to the internal MOLLE on GORUCK bags or the external front MOLLE.
These storage accessories have a zipper level in the center of the bottom of the pocket, so when you unlock them, they lay flat, with no side, to provide more room. With these storage accessories, you can also pack not only your electronic cables, camera gear, and other gadgets. You can also use them in packing your clothes, making them perfect for traveling, hiking, or rucking.
GR1 Field Pocket
First up is the GR1 Field Pocket.
The GR1 Field Pocket is versatile storage that you can use as a Dopp kit or storage for your electronics, camera gear, or with your rucksack for added space and organization.
It is made of 1000D Cordura measuring 9” W x 6” H x 2.5” D with a 3L capacity. It can also be used as a survival kit or a toiletries bag, and if you love taking photos, your mirrorless camera will also fit well.

GR2 Field Pocket
The GR2 Field Pocket is bigger than the GR1 measuring 9” W x 8” H x 3” D with a 4L capacity. It is big enough to carry your camera gear. It is also an excellent option to take if you have sensitive gear that you want to protect.
It can hold plenty of stuff, be carried easily, and be taken anywhere. GR2 is also made of 1000D Cordura and has three additional interior pockets to keep you organized.
Wire Dopp
Need to pack your phone and laptop accessories? You need a wire dopp to hold all those cords, cables, connectors, and power bricks.
GORUCK gives us two options – the Wire Dopp Standard and Wire Dopp Mini.
The Wire Dopps comes in mini and standard sizes. The mini measures 4.5″ x 9.75″ and has two zippered storage areas. The standard, on the other hand, measures 8.5″ x 9.5″ and has three zippered storage. Both have a simple folding design with a single buckle closure for a secure hold.

Shadow Pocket
The Shadow Pocket is made of 500D Cordura and features a smooth design (it is “slick” – meaning no MOLLE). It is a simple way to organize your electronics and camera gear and you can also use it as a Dopp kit.
The Shadow Pocket comes in three different dimensions:
- 2L Dimensions: 9″ x 5.5″ x 2.5″
- 3L Dimensions: 9″ x 8″ x 3″
- 4L Dimensions: 9″ x 9″ x 3.25″
Packing Cubes
The Packing Cubes are made of light but rugged 200D nylon. When empty, they pack down to nothing, and the zippered mesh compartments open flat so you can pack efficiently and find what you need quickly.
These Packing Cubes are the ideal travel companion to your GR3, GR2 or Kit Bag. They come in six capacities, from 5L to 20L.
Simple Side Pocket
The Simple Side Pocket weighs only 86g and measures 7″ height x 5″ width x 3″ depth. It effortlessly attaches to the MOLLE webbing on the outside of your ruck for easy access to items you want on the go.
It also provides a better internal organization when you have your ruck open and need to get something fast. The Simple Side Pocket has a 2×3 inch patch-friendly VELCRO® on the front.
GORUCK Echo Field Pocket
The Echo Field Pocket is the smallest in the pack, measuring 9” W x 4” H x 2.5” D with a 2L capacity. Though it is the smallest, this pocket can hold plenty of stuff and takes up considerably less space.
